When we started down this road, we realized that the knife industry had a void in regards to their leather sheaths. There were a lot of generic, 'one size fits most' sheaths and they were only produced one at a time. The carry system was also lacking where it was sewn in or on . . . meaning if the end customer wanted to carry the blade in a different way, he or she was out of luck.
We needed custom tailored sheaths for production runs of high end knives.
We came in and began to produce for midtech makers with the end user in mind. We used our knowledge of how to carry Kydex sheaths and applied it to leather. We realized that with a drawing of a production knife we could begin the design phase before the knife was even completed on the knifemakers' end. All we asked is that we get one of the first ones off the mill to check our fit.
To date, this has been our bread and butter. We outfit knives, with the highest quality sheath, made from the best leather we can find. We set it up according to the needs of the end user, also trying to give them options by building modular systems.
We strive to make the highest quality product. One that will last for years to come so that a customer will be able to use it, whatever the application, and still have something to pass on to their grandkids.
